Where Leadership Meets High‑Acuity Care:

Guiding Teams, Supporting Patients, and Managing Complexity

Welcome to my e-portfolio! My name is Hannah- I am a fellowship-trained, acute care nurse practitioner specializing in critical care medicine and now completing my Doctor of Nursing degree!

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a terminal degree that prepares nurses to lead and improve healthcare by applying advanced clinical knowledge, evidence-based practice, and systems thinking. Grounded in the core philosophy of the DNP Essentials defined by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), doctoral nursing graduates develop expertise in scientific foundations, organizational leadership, analytical methods, and health information technology.

As a doctorally prepared advanced practice nurse, I am committed to policy advocacy, leading interprofessional teams, promoting population health initiatives, and demonstrating advanced practice skills within my critical care specialty. By achieving the competencies of the DNP essentials, I will be able to influence patient outcomes through improving healthcare delivery processes and driving change and innovation across complex and integrated healthcare systems.
